PORK BAN - Be scared of Pork, be very scared.

"Swine flu" has placed a major damper on world trade despite the "World Health Organization's (WHO) assurances that the virus isn't spread by eating infected pork". Ya right! Is this frenzy justified you may ask?

Well China, the world's biggest consumer of pork, has places a ban on pork and are turning away exports of live pigs and pork products from the USA and Mexico. Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Thailand, the UAE and the Philippines has followed suite. This reaction to the swine flu by these governments, is very reminiscent of the Asian bird flu outbreak, and the severe acute respiratory syndrome acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) of a fews years back.

Swine flu or rather H1N1 is on the rise and according to the World Health Organization (WHO) announcement, 34 countries officially have reported 7,520 a total of H1N1 cases. A few days later, according to the World Health Organization's daily report, a total of 11,034 people in 41 countries worldwide have been officially diagnosed with the H1N1 virus.

But the death toll is also on the rise. In the United States there are 5,710 cases of H1N1, with 8 deaths thus far, Mexico has 3,892 cases of H1N1, with 95 deaths. Canada has 719 cases of H1N1 and Costa Rica - 20, with one death each. Japan and Spain has 259 and 111 cases of H1N1 respectively. United Kingdom and Panama 109 and 69 cases of H1N1 respectively. France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Israel, El Salvador, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, Guatemala, New Zealand and China all have less than 50 H1N1 cases each.

However, in Cairo, tens of thousands of Coptic Christian zabaaleen (trash collectors) who raise pigs on their garbage sites, lost most of their livelihood when the government ordered some 300,000 swine to be killed because of the fears created by swine flu, H1N1 virus. These zabaleen (rubbish collectors) use pigs to recycle organic wastes and sell them for meat in order to make a living. The inhumane treatment of these pigs by the government borders on criminal when they allegedly buried the pigs alive in the desert, under quicklime and other chemicals.

Human idisyncracies  are peculiarity to humans, sometimes difficult to understand yet many find the justification for what they do, Remember "You Are What You Eat". Pigs that eat trash, rubbish and garbage are trash, rubbish and garbage. When you Pork, Guess what that makes You?

Garbage in... Garbage out... This could be restated as ... (Eat pig... Act like one, live like one, carry disease like one). Love life, stop eating pork!

PIG HEALTH CARE | PIG HEALTH FACTS

PIG HEALTH CARE | PIG HEALTH FACTS

"One man's meat is another man's poison" is a truism that is proven daily in our modern day society. Don't you just Love Languages? Man was acquired the taste for meat that previously was unheard of as food. Restaurants in certain parts of the world though well hidden are serving up, crocodile steaks, snake rolls in tabasco, rat meat stew, spiders grilled in batter, roasted eagle, pig bladder or stomach soup, roasted dog, snails in white wine and grilled locusts. These menus are strictly for the eccentric, as well as the wealthy and the perverse.

Just a few weeks ago newspapers had a field day with coverage about conservationists and animal rights groups who were up in arms about Lion steaks that appeared on some restaurant's menu. Some weirdos are even eating human placenta (after birth) but its not available in restaurants yet, but can be found on the shelves of expensive cosmetics companies, supposedly as the fountain of youth. Ya right! Be that as it may, I can imagine that some of these treats would be acceptable to some but not to others. For example, the snake and the spiders meals is definitely a no-no for me, but that doesn't imply that I'm susceptible to eating any of the other vile foods in a hurry. So sorry, I Love Life.

This brings us to the quality of meat and its composition. Essentially all animals that eat other animals (animals of prey) consume blood which is probably the compound that spreads disease easiest and fastest. Besides that, all animals of prey have wild tempers and consumption of these treats would change your DNA and your temperament as well. "You are what you eat" . The fatty acids of these wild beasts are vastly different from that of grazing animals who's fatty acids our bodies can process and benefit from.

Carrion Eaters

Rats and pigs are scavengers and often hunt for food in rat packs or swineherds and consume any carrion they find. Both these animals are relatively dirty, in fact, both are rather renown for living in filth. Crocks are also carrion eaters and is known to lodge its catch under a log or stone underwater and wait for it to decay before eating it. In the like manner pigs waits for carrion to decay, become fly infested and reek before consumption, hence the adage, "as dirty as a pig". Swine flu being its latest gift to man. Just a few weeks ago, scientists were experimenting and studying the immune system of flies found to live and breed in piggeries in the hope of finding the gene that gives them immunity to the incredibly large amounts of bacteria and germs found there. I doubt very much if either of these beasts were destined to be in the pot or the belly of man, even if they cooked at high temperature for hours. But then again to each his own.

Snakes and spiders eat rats, mice and insects respectively. Each getting the necessary enzymes from their prey in order to produce the poisons they need to process their meals and paralyse prospective prey. "They are what they eat" They consume their own poisons which doesn't harm them but some are embedded in their own flesh in minute quantities, man has no business eating them, as these poisons may have an impact on the his DNA and therefore could affect future generations.

So, will our future generations be resistant to poisonous toxins and immune to germs and bacteria if they continue eating these treats, or will it change their DNA to produce mutant offspring with tempers like that of wild animals, or will they become diseased and outcast as were the lepers?

Only time will tell. However, people who ate these treats boast about the highs they experience which drugs cannot induce. They have dreams that makes Revelations look like a kiddies bedtime story and get frivolous thoughts that incites them to having wild orgies.

PIGS FOR PETS

PIGS FOR PETS

Eccentric... ya, it has a nice ring to it but it;s not as cool as it sounds. Who ever wants to be involved with someone eccentric, someone with issues, with baggage? It's almost certain that we all know someone like that. They have obscure attitudes, dubious mind sets, cranky ideas or they are just plain tiresome? But you know what, we all are eccentric in some form or another. Ya... I know it sucks but then again there is always someone else who sucks a bit more.

Just look at the people who go to afterbirth parties. They don't go there to have a look at the baby but rather for their share of the cooked, fried or roasted placenta. That really sucks! Yuwee! Urgg! I don't know about you, but  to me that smacks of cannibalism. [By the way did you know that human placentas are used for cosmetics manufacture?] Ya.. eating other people's organs, that is really eccentric. Some people even drink blood and some are known to drink their own urine. Disgusting! Ya.. people do eat and drink all kinds of crap. That brings me to the epic of the hog, you know... the domesticated swine... the pig... the breakfast pork ... the bacon, ham? If you haven't read my previous blogs, find it HERE! and HERE!

Did you know that oink does not have a jugular vein like sheep, cows, goats and camels? It's probably because he's not one of them but rather an outcast, not welcome to the family. Just because the shoe could fit —since there feet looks alike— doesn't make him family, no, not in the least. So, to get back to the jugular thing. When the grazing animals are slaughtered, the jugular is severed and with the immediate loss of blood pressure the animal goes into a coma. However, after slaughter its spinal column is still intact, so the heart and its brain is still in communication, meaning the heart will continue to pump until the animal's body is drained of blood. The resulting meat then has virtually no blood in its meat which it's less prone to attracting Salmonella. Don't forget, decay sets in the moment of death!

But right now, touch your own throat and feel your jugular or that of your pet dog's or cat's. Go on..did you feel it? Lets us now take a look at piggy. Its " jugular" sits exactly in the centre of its neck, so you can't feel it. When slaughtered numerous nerves and neck tissue is cut before the butcher gets to its "jugular". The nerves responsible for communication between the pigs heart and brain gets severed and even though some flood flows, its heart has stopped pumping and the blood in the meat starts to congeal immediately on death. Hello Salmonella! Why do you think the cooking instructions for pork is so stringent? Pork must be properly cooked... or roasted on extreme heat or else you are bound to get a "healthy" dose of salmonella! Bloodborne diseases are certainly the worst disease carrier in the world!

Did u ever hear the squeals, shrieks and sounds of a pig being slaughtered? It's not a pretty sight nor sound I tell you. No wonder all the butchers have issues, and I'm certain these dudes never have a peaceful nights sleep. Any butchers out there volunteering their experience?

Piggy gets chopped up, its bones are are used to make buttons and the leftovers is ground-up to make Calcium food supplement tables, its bristles are used to make paint-brushes and the food additive L-cystein. The pig's skin is used to make leather soccer-balls, wallets, shoes and handbags and it's gelatin for sweets and jelly's and it's glycerin for making lipsticks. Pigs pancreas are commonly used for making the pharmaceutical drug insulin for humans. At one time a pig heart valve was transplanted into a human and occasionally pig skin is used for skin grafting in humans. Pig manure is especially used as a fertilizer for Mushrooms.

However useful piggy may be, he is the largest disease and parasite carrier of all animals and the sole cause of Ascariasis in humans and most recently "Swine Flue" H1N1. So, you still wana eat pork? Rather just Love Life. I think Pigs for Pets are just fine, pigs for sale ... debatable but I prefer pictures of Pigs.
